NASSIM ENTRY PRECINCT,
SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS

The landscape development at this section of the Gardens breathed new life into a once traditional entrance precinct. Some 80 plant species, including trees, shrubs and groundcovers were used in this vast project. The expansive greenery spreads across driveways, sidewalks and parking lots, greeting visitors upon their arrival and setting the scene for what lies beyond. Other added features include an eco pond, floating wetlands, and bio-retention swale to help manage stormwater runoff.
